WomanUp partners with Institute of Banking on new programme







Woman Up has entered into a partnership with the Institute of Banking (IOB), Ireland's largest professional institute, to design and deliver a leadership programme for women in financial services.


The new programme is called Inside out leadership - a programme for next generation women leaders. It combines:


  • Elements of WomanUp’s programme's for women with leadership potential which are designed to heighten participants’ self-awareness, change their behaviours and lead with confidence and authenticity

  • Components of IOB's technical leadership programmess which provide a foundation in finance, strategy, risk and how to lead in an ever-changing world

The programme involves six highly interactive modules, delivered virtually along with pre and post-module resources and tasks designed to deepen knowledge and understanding, Each participant will receive a report and analysis of her leadership

attributes and styles, using a tool which has helped millions of people understand and

change their thinking and behavioural styles to increase their effectiveness. Other elements include

  • Two 1-1 sessions with an Executive Coach designed o support participants in interpreting their LSI reports, identifying blockages and behavioural changes while also embedding the programme learnings

  • Self-guided reflective exercises and processes to capture the learnings and articulate


The Institute is a professional network of 33,600 members who work in banking and international financial services sector. IOB is a recognised college of University College Dublin (UCD) and is a centre of excellence in the provision of specialist education and lifelong learning to the financial services sector with programmes for members at every stage of their careers.
